The Leister Hot Air Tool Labo 34 is a compact heat gun for process heating applications with over 100 standard stainless nozzle attachments to direct hot air where you want it. Available in 120-230V, 550-800W. Maximum temperature 1150°F (650°C). Air outlet without nozzle attachment is 22mm diameter, size 34 x 124 mm, and requires a separate air source. Air volume varies depending on air source. Using 1.5 psi from the Leister Robust Blower, the air volume of unheated air is 4.9 SCFM (140 l/min). If the air is heated to 840°F (max temp at 1.5 psi) then the air volume will be 8.8 SCFM (250 l/min) at 1.5 psi.
This is a non-electronic hot air tool; therefore it will require a control system to adjust the temperatures. The Labo 34 can be configured to run through an external control system, such as a SCR power controller, a PLC, or a PID digital controller. Malcom offers a full line of external SCR power controllers, solid state contactors, and 1/16 DIN digital process controllers. Click here for information about Malcom Company's control systems.
