Leister Heat Source Hot Air Tools

Malcom Hot Air Systems announces the new line of Leister Heat Source process heating Hot Air Tools. The new LHS air heaters from Leister are available in many configurations. Depending on your needs, the LHS feature built in electronic device and heating element protection, integrated temperature probe, temperature controller and power electronics and temperature adjustability with a built in potentiometer. In addition the LHS heaters can be fitted with an interface for control via a bus to PLC or PID temperature controllers with digital read outs of set and actual temperatures. Ask a Malcom Company Application Engineer to help you determine which LHS hot air tool is best suited configure to fit your needs.

The LHS line of hot air tools is available in single or three phase power, from single phase 100V-230V to three phase 230-480V from 1 kW to 16 kW. Temperature range on all these heaters is from ambient up to 1250 degrees F depending on the air flows through the heat guns. Air flows will depend on the blower that is selected.

The first of the new LHS tools by Leister will become available starting in April 2005 and will replace the Leister non electronic Type 3000, 3300, 5000 and 10,000 hot air tools which will be phased out over the next two years to allow our customers time to change over. Repair service and spare parts, including heating elements will be available through 2014.
