The Leister LHS Classic heat source product line is available from single phase 100V-230V to three
phase 230-480V from 1 kW to 16 kW. Temperature range on all these heaters is from ambient up to
1250 degrees F depending on the air flows through the heat guns. All Leister LHS Classic hot air tools
have a built in overheating detection that when it senses overheating it will send a voltage signal that
can be tied to a alarm or relay to protect the heating element from burning out and protect the heater
from total failure.
There is no temperature control system built into the LHS Classic Hot Air Tools. If you want to control
temperatures with these heaters, the LHS Classic heaters need to be controlled externally by power
and temperature controllers. Malcom Company offers compatible SCR Power controllers and
Temperature controllers for all the LHS Classic Hot Air Tools.
